Volluma Hair Thickener

Dale Denison  //  Hi! My name is Dale Lorna Denison.

I have a relatively mild case of thinning hair and, as a woman (yes, this “Dale” is female), it sucks. I know how lousy it makes me feel and I can only imagine the emotional pain women with more severe problems must endure.

When I’m out in public and see a woman with thin hair (the kind you can see right through), my heart just aches for her, especially the young and pretty ones with their whole lives ahead of them! It’s just plain unfair that women, who put so much value on their hair along with time and effort to make it look good, have so many potential causes of thinning hair and so few solutions to fix it.

I have tried many different hair styles over the years to try and hide my thinning areas and you can check out the FREE Hair Style Guide (link below) for amazing professional salon grade styling tips for your hair. But styling doesn’t always work in every situation. In fact, it was during one of these times when I was wearing my hair short and spikey, I realized no amount of styling would cover up my scalp. That was when I discovered the German hair thickening spray - Volluma. The results were so impressive, so personally life-altering that I bought the company, so to speak!

Actually, what I did was start a company distributing Volluma to help North American women feel better about themselves. I love how well it works for women with thinning hair and there’s absolutely nothing like the fantastic feeling I get when a new customer calls to tell me how positively Volluma affected the way she feels about herself. It makes all the effort so worthwhile!

My goal is to reach as many women as I can and to help them through the tough times with real solutions that make them look and feel better about themselves. Through this blog I will share with you, information on women’s hair loss issues, the opinions of experts and additionally, I will bring you the scoop on current surgical, medical, and cosmetic products and techniques to help you look your best.

Please ask me any questions you want on your hair loss and, through my network of top Hair Transplant Surgeons, Dermatologists, Hair Stylists and Hair Systems Providers, I will get you answers - that is my commitment to you. Feel free to make comments, post questions or even just to talk about what you are going through.

I have a big heart and am a great listener. I look forward to blogging with the many beautiful women out there suffering from this terrible condition.

Simple Hair Loss Solutions

I know there really isn’t a simple solution to hair loss but I found these tips that I thought  might help if you have the question, “ How do I make my hair thicker and healthier?”.

1.      Proper/Nourishing Diet.

Ingredients that contribute to good health are also great for your hair.  Some of these would include healthy proteins and which have reduced carbs and fat content.  Fish, soy, Canola oil and also walnuts have essential fatty acids which have important nutrients to help in proper hair development.  Omega-3 fatty acids can also help your hair.

Make sure your iron is maintained so that it doesn’t result in anemia.  This can result in a reduced source of blood to your hair which can trigger hair thinning.  Foods high in iron are brewer’s yeast, liver and broccoli.   Meat, eggs and chicken are also great foods for the hair due to their Vitamin B12 content.  Another B supplement that is vital for your hair is biotin.  Biotin supplements are often prescribed by your doctor along with other medications of choice with regard to thin hair, such as Proscar and Minoxidil. Biotin is not only good for your hair, but it can also benefit your skin and nails.

2.      Herbs

Saw Palmetto works like Finasteride that inhibits activity involving the hair loss which causes androgens in the hair follicles.  Women of all ages should not use palmetto without speaking to their doctors first.  Green tea extract can help decrease any testosterone in a woman’s system, which can prevent periodic hormonal activity which is responsible for some occurrences of thinning hair.  Sage tea along with apple cider vinegar can be applied to your scalp to help promote hair growth.  Horsetail is a great source of silica which is an important element of healthy growing hair.  Women with hereditary or health related thinning hair shouldn’t be afraid of using proper hair products but a good suggestion would be to consult your hairstylist for the best products for your specific hair.

If this article helps only one person, even that is a good thing.  Take care of yourself and I look forward to any feedback.  Please make sure you always check with your doctor before trying anything new.
